The Peachtree Ridge Lions were the 58-18 winner over the Discovery Titans when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Peachtree Ridge took a 40-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Discovery on Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Discovery to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jade Jones, who scored 14 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. Kaylon Jackson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Peachtree Ridge now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Discovery, their victory bumped their record up to 1-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peachtree Ridge will take on Mountain View at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Discovery, they will stay at home for another game and welcome North Gwinnett at 5:30 p.m. on December 8th. North Gwinnett presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Discovery in Georgia (North Gwinnett is ranked 200th, while Discovery is ranked 402nd).
