Marquez Daniel Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Marquez Daniel posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Booker T. Washington over Handley on Friday. Daniel picked up 144 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He has become a key player for Booker T. Washington: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
Handley's probably not too fond of Daniel given he always seems to get the better of them. Daniel picked up 199 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in November of 2023.

Chase Perry Turns in Season-Best Effort
Saint James was led to victory by Chase Perry, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Perry threw for 261 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also punched in a rushing score.
Saint James' victory bumped their record up to 6-4. Perry and Saint James will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on W.S. Neal at 7:00 p.m. on November 8th.

Javis Floyd Goes Supernova in Booker T. Washington Defeat
The second Booker T. Washington player making an appearance here is Javis Floyd, and for good reason. He rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
For the year, Floyd has averaged 19.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 4.89 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 106.89 rushing yards.
