Hamshire-Fannett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Moore, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 23 points and six rebounds. Moore has been hot, having posted 18 or more points the last six times she's played. Evie Woodall was another key player, going 5-for-8 on her way to 13 points in addition to six assists and five boards.
Hamshire-Fannett's victory bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Salado, their loss dropped their record down to 21-15.
Looking ahead, Hamshire-Fannett will face off against Bridge City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridge City will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Hamshire-Fannett surely won't give up without a fight. Salado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
