Basketball Recap: Advanced Studies Takes a Loss

Advanced Studies scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were dealt a 73-18 defeat at the hands of the Lead Hill Tigers. Advanced Studies was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-14.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lead Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Coda Lemon, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Lemon has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dawson Lively, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points along with six assists and four steals.

Advanced Studies is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Lead Hill, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-12.

Advanced Studies wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-21 loss against Jasper on the 24th. As for Lead Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 93-48 victory against Founders Classical Academy on the 24th.
