Sid Goecke put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Friday. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Goecke and Montverde Academy will challenge Lake Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Goecke's efforts, the Eagles will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
