The West Feliciana Saints's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-17 win over Broadmoor on the road. The win was just what West Feliciana needed coming off of a 68-27 defeat in their prior game.
West Feliciana found their leader in underclassman Sanaya Berry, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Berry pulled down eight or more rebounds. Arieonia Ebbs was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds.
West Feliciana's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Broadmoor, they bumped their record down to 1-16 with that loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
West Feliciana will take on Plaquemine at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Broadmoor, they will head out on the road to square off against McKinley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McKinley will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
