Jhadis Luckey Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, California got the W thanks in part to Jhadis Luckey playing the best football he has all season. Luckey rushed for 317 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 64 yards.
California pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Luckey and California will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against De La Salle at 7:15 p.m. on November 1st.
