V.R. Eaton fell victim to Southlake Carroll's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. Their rough 7-0 loss to the Dragons might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, V.R. Eaton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 248th, while Southlake Carroll is ranked first).
Meanwhile, Byron Nelson was the victim of a tough 6-1 defeat at the hands of Southlake Carroll on Friday. Byron Nelson has not had much luck with Southlake Carroll recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
