Galt extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping them down to 5-5. They came up short against the Bradshaw Christian Pride, falling 21-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.
As for Bradshaw Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2. Considering they have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
For Bradshaw Christian's part, Aniya McDaniels made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. McDaniels was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
In other pitching news, Julionna Ropp looked comfortable as she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Harlow Ahlstrom, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ava Clarida, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Looking ahead, Galt will venture away from home to square off against Ben Holt College Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Bradshaw Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Union Mine at 4:00 p.m. The Pride's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Diamondbacks have averaged an impressive 13.2 runs per game this season.
