Manchester won the last time they faced Southwood and things went their way on Friday too. The Manchester Squires walked away with a 45-35 win over the Southwood Knights. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Squires.

Manchester's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emma Walker, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 boards. Peyton Ream was another key player, putting up 12 points and four steals.

Southwood's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hali Pershing, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Alivia Pershing, who had six points and eight rebounds.

Manchester's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Southwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Manchester won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wabash at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wabash is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season. As for Southwood, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Northfield at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
