While Manor New Tech put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for LBJ Austin. Manor New Tech put the hurt on LBJ Austin with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering Manor New Tech has won seven matches by more than 14 runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lelani Ceballos made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one walk in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Muneera Shaheryar, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Sinnie, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Manor New Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Manor New Tech pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for LBJ Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Manor New Tech will host Northeast Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for LBJ Austin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lago Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven contests.
