The Christian Learning Center Mustangs entered their tilt with the El Dorado Christian Buffalos with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Christian Learning Center really took it to El Dorado Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-19 victory at home. Fans of Christian Learning Center have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Learning Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adelyn Paranto, who scored 14 points along with 8 steals. Paranto is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Allen, who scored 16 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
El Dorado Christian's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Breann Reasoner, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds, and McKenzie Cole who scored 8 points along with 12 rebounds. Reasoner scored a full 52.6% of El Dorado Christian's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Even though they lost, El Dorado Christian were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christian Learning Center only pulled down 31.
Christian Learning Center's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for El Dorado Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christian Learning Center will take on Clinton Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clinton Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 130th in Missouri, while Christian Learning Center is ranked 34th in Kansas). El Dorado Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Overland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Overland Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
