We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Duval Charter 3.8, Foundation Christian Academy 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
While Duval Charter's win against Parker wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Braves 4-2. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three games in a row.

Duval Charter's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Michael Grimaldi, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave Grimaldi a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Foundation Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Gladiators. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Rolland Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Foundation Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Caleb Hom, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Hom has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played. Another player making a difference was Levi Rickley, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Duval Charter's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their record is now 12-1-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Duval Charter has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Foundation Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 11.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
