Oakbrook Prep had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They crushed Ware Shoals 44-8. Oakbrook Prep was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Oakbrook Prep a 1-0 record and starting Ware Shoals off at 0-1.
Next week, Oakbrook Prep take on Asheville School (Independent) at 7:00 PM. As for Ware Shoals, they will face of against Greenwood Raptors.
