The Eureka Hornets won the last time they faced the Heyworth Hornets, and things went their way on Tuesday, too. Eureka came out on top against Heyworth by a score of 64-56. It took eight tries, but Eureka can finally say that they have a victory on the road.
The win makes it two in a row for Eureka and bumps their record up to 9-16. The loss dropped Heyworth's record to 10-14.
Eureka is on the road again Friday and plays against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 65-54 win over Watseka on Tuesday. As for Heyworth, they will face off against Fieldcrest Friday. Heyworth fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them.
