On Friday Greely take on Mt. Blue at 7:00 PM. Greely is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Greely had to hit the road for their first game, and unfortunately the road hit them back. They took a 0-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Noble.
Meanwhile, Mt. Blue gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener last Friday. They blew past Lawrence 34-13. Mt. Blue was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Mt. Blue's win lifted them to 1-0 while Greely's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll see if Mt. Blue's success rolls on or if Greely are able to steal their positive momentum.
