Basketball Recap: Bayfield Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Bayfield extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Quintin Bresette. The Bayfield Trollers came out on top against the Drummond Lumberjacks by a score of 69-61 on Friday thanks in part to Bresette, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Remy Cadotte, who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points along with six boards and five steals. Those 17 points gave him a new career-high.

Bayfield is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points per game. As for Drummond, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6.

Bayfield has already played their next game, an 81-61 victory against Solon Springs on the 28th. As for Drummond, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-42 win against Hurley on the 28th.
