Despite the loss, Calvert Hall still got an impressive performance from Brendan Johnson, who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds. Johnson scored a full 45.1% of Calvert Hall's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Terry Fields, who scored 5 points.
Archbishop Spalding's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Calvert Hall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
Archbishop Spalding will be playing at home against Loyola Blakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvert Hall is on the road again on Friday and play against Mount St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th. One thing working in Mount St. Joseph's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
