Spencer's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Demarcus Horne, who scored 11 points along with four steals. Joe Dozier was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Spencer's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.72 points. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spencer will take on Academy for Classical Education at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Academy for Classical Education has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19. As for Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
