The Redmond Mustangs were the 48-42 winner over the Inglemoor Vikings when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Redmond fell 47-35 to Inglemoor on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Redmond has lost by exactly 12 points.
Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Iha Kasam, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Yuki Willis, who scored 11 points along with five assists.
Redmond has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Inglemoor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redmond won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Issaquah at 3:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Inglemoor, they will head out on the road to challenge Woodinville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
