Dae'cion Echols Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Muncie Central got the W thanks in part to Dae'Cion Echols playing the best football he has all season. Echols rushed for 267 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 52 yards.
Echols must have Richmond's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Echols rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries the last time he and the Red Devils duked it out back in September of 2023.

Kokomo had to settle for second on Friday, but Keemarion Pollard sure wasn't going down easily. Harrison had no answer to Pollard as he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns.
With the defeat, Kokomo broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4. Pollard and Kokomo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.
