Taylor Zalunardo and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Taylor Zalunardo was instrumental in extending Sierra's winning streak to six on Thursday. Zalunardo rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. The effort marked the most rushing yards she has had since back in August. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making five total tackles and defending a pass.
Sierra is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Zalunardo and Sierra will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Oakdale at 7:00 p.m.

Sierra picked up their sixth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Janessa Barnes. Barnes was dynamite, picking up 74 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
On the season, Barnes has caught 28 touchdowns while averaging 76.5 receiving yards per game. She is looking even better than she did last year: after 14 games last season, she had eight receiving touchdowns.
