Skylar Minshew made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Minshew was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Kenny Cole was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and a double. Another player making a difference was Hunter Newton, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Miles had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. In other batting news, Miles got a massive performance out of PRESTON TAPIA, who went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs. MANUEL TORRES was another key contributor, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple.
Bangs pushed their record up to 11-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 10 runs. As for Miles, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-1.
