After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Burns, Notus was happy to have turned things around  on Wednesday. They strolled past the North Star Huskies with  points to spare, taking the game  64-47. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pirates considering their 29-point performance the  contest before.

 Notus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Caleb Cudaback led the charge by  going 9 for 18 on his way to 24  points and three  steals. The dominant performance gave  Cudaback a new career-high in  points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Benny Guevara, who  went 7 of 13 on his way to 17 points in addition to six  rebounds and six  steals.
Notus' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Star,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 3-2.
 Notus will head out to  face off against Adrian  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for North Star, they will host Centennial Baptist  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
