Saydel never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past the Centerville Big Reds/Redettes 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Saydel is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Centerville, they moved to 11-21 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Saydel will head out on the road to square off against Knoxville on Monday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Centerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
