Basketball Recap: Central Valley Academy Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Central Valley Academy had won nine straight home games dating back to last season and Calvin Jacquays did his part to make it ten on Friday. The Central Valley Academy Thunder took down the Proctor Raiders 61-47 thanks in part to Jacquays, who went 7 of 9 from beyond the arc on his way to 36 points and three steals. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Central Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Proctor, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Central Valley Academy will take on Whitesboro in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Proctor, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Vernon-Verona-Sherrill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
