Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chicago Vocational). They blew past the Carver Challengers 37-16 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Cavaliers have posted since February 2, 2024.

Several Challengers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kennedy Wingfield, who posted six points. That was a full 37.5% of Carver's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.

The victory made it two in a row for Chicago Vocational and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Carver, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Chicago Vocational wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-16 win against Englewood Stem on the 9th. As for Carver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-11 loss against Chicago Washington on the 10th.
