Cedar Park Christian is a perfect 10-0 against Granite Falls since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Cedar Park Christian will be strutting in after a win while Granite Falls will be coming in after a loss.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Cedar Park Christian duked it out with South Whidbey on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 9-4.

Isabela Stewart made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Shelby Southard was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexis Rogers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Cedar Park Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Whidbey struck out 11 times.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Granite Falls was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Coupeville. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Granite Falls saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addy Haverfield, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Cedar Park Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Granite Falls, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Cedar Park Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. However, it's not like Granite Falls struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Cedar Park Christian's way against Granite Falls in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as Cedar Park Christian made off with a 14-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
