Despite the loss, NorthPoint Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gabe Spann almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Spann has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Chelan Chudgar, who had 14 points along with five steals.
