Granger is 1-9 against Bremond since March of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lions will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Granger has given up an average of 12.4 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Granger came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Thorndale, falling 15-5.

Skyla Thorsen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Tavernier, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bremond, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rosebud-Lott 6-4. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Addison Young was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Ryann Baker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Granger's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Bremond, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Granger hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. However, it's not like Bremond struggles in that department as they've averaged .360. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
