Kashmere hasn't had much luck against Wheatley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Fighting Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Kashmere turned things around against Scarborough on Saturday. They breezed past the Spartans to the tune of 37-6. The Fighting Rams pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Spartans had little chance of recovering from.

Kashmere's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jayda Marks, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 13 points in addition to three steals and three blocks. Marks has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Fayla McHenry, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Wheatley over Worthing in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Wildcats blew the Colts out of the water with a 78-14 final score. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 38 points or more this season.
Kashmere better keep an eye on Jamie Solomon. She was instrumental in Wheatley's win, shooting 52% from the field en route to 38 points and four steals. Symone Johnson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with ten points and nine steals.
Kashmere's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Wheatley, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kashmere has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Wheatley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.9 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Kashmere took a serious blow against Wheatley in their previous meeting back in November of 2025, falling 77-10. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Solomon, who went 16-for-26 on her way to 37 points along with six steals and five assists. Now that the Fighting Rams know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
