West Florida Baptist Academy extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 15-1 in the process. They put the hurt on the Atmore Christian Rams with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Conquerors have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Scheel made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, West Florida Baptist Academy let Emery Burke and Aubrey Doyle run wild. Burke went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Doyle went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave Burke a new career-high.
