Brett Centnarowicz helped Block out on the ground, rushing for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Meanwhile, while Coal City put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Manteno. Coal City breezed by Manteno to the tune of 49-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Coalers just coasted through the last quarter.
The win was the fourth in a row for Johnsburg, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. As for Coal City, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
