Maranatha Baptist was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from 12th to 10th in Great 8 (8 Man). The Crusaders vanquished Valley Christian 52-35 earlier in the week.
Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Gibraltar, 55-44. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Isaiah Charles made the biggest impact on defense this week as Oneida Nation lost to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah. He forced 1 fumble.
Gabe Lloyd was a force in the backfield as Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran topped the Vikings.
Nick Kita threw for 420 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 17-29 with 1 interception.
Matt Andersen had an awesome week catching the football as Gibraltar fell to Dick Hasseler's team. He caught 7 passes for 260 yards.
Lloyd was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 252 yards as the Blazers fell to the Blazers. Joey Siudzinski also contributed to the rushing game with 100 yards on the ground.
6-foot-3 quarterback Kita of the Vikings is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2,355. He has also thrown 40 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Wesley Richards. The Maranatha Baptist star has 38 catches for 696 yards.
Sevastopol lost to Bowler/Gresham Community 64-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bryson Paschke ran for 70 yards in the loss.
