The Panthers' pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 17 hits and seven walks to lead the league in both categories. Cedar Grove has given up a mere 153 hits on the year, while striking out 88 opposing hitters.
Tom Cucuzza is the leader in that category with 29 Ks on the season.
Even after stealing 14 bases to lead the league over the past week, the Panthers are still looking up at
Newark Academy, which ranks No. 1 in steals, with 84 on the year.
