Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern). They were the clear victor by a 56-36 margin over the Fern Creek Tigers on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Southern's win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-13. As for Fern Creek, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13.
