After a string of six wins, Frostproof's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Avon Park Red Devils by a score of 4-3. Luke Thornton was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits.
