It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Tulare Union The Tribe had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Kingsburg by a score of 49-42. The win was familiar territory for Tulare Union who now have three in a row.
Tulare Union found their leader in underclassman Jordan Crisp, who threw for 349 yards and five touchdowns while completing 79.3% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score. Crisp is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last seven games he's played. Tieler Peterson was another key contributor, rushing for 166 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Tulare Union has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Kingsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
Tulare Union will head out on the road to face off against Central Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Central Valley Christian's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last eight contests. Kingsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
