The Four Corners Coyotes lost against the Altamonte Christian Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Four Corners was outmatched by the Eagles on the road and fell 89-46. Four Corners was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-21.
Four Corners' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kesh Harpal, who scored 17 points, and Joshua Barnes who scored 14 points. Harpal has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last four times he's played.
Ashton Billings was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 14 assists for Altamonte Christian. It was the first time this season that Billings posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Ryan Almeda, who scored 19 points along with two steals.
Four Corners' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Altamonte Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-9.
Four Corners will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Coyotes in Florida (the Hawks are ranked 32nd, while the Coyotes are ranked 621st). Altamonte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
