The Sierra Linda Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They secured a 49-44 W over Metro Tech. That five points margin sets a new team best for Sierra Linda this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sierra Linda to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaelyn German, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Shania Holmes, who scored 19 points along with six steals.
Sierra Linda's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for Metro Tech, they bumped their record down to 5-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Fairfax the next time they take the court. Sierra Linda will head out to face Fairfax at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Metro Tech will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
