This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Chase Hall and Andon Wolverton. Hall rushed for 153 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries while Wolverton rushed for 180 yards and one touchdown while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Hall's longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Soldotna was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 463 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 297 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Soldotna's defense made their presence known, laying out Jon Scott three times. In that department, Theo Huff was the leader with two sacks. The game marked his first with multiple sacks this season.
