Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Home Educators Fellowship). Everything went their way against the Psalms Christian Academy Ambassadors on Friday as the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Patriots made off with a 20-4 victory. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly 16 runs.

Braxton Gautreau made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Gautreau was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Christian Home Educators Fellowship let Luke Babin and Caleb Whitehead run wild. Babin scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3, while Whitehead scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, Whitehead posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Matthew Steele was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Psalms Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .407.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. Psalms Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
