Given University's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Anderson Prep Academy is ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leading University to victory were Anyah Jordan and Keira Bright. Jordan scored 20 points along with 4 steals, while Bright scored 23 points along with 9 steals and 7 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Grubbs, who scored 4 points along with 10 rebounds.
University now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Anderson Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
University has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Roncalli at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Anderson Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Union at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
