Memorial Day's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Julien Zamora, who picked up 109 receiving yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Tyler Kindle, who threw for 197 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.
Leading Southwest Georgia Academy to victory were Eli Enfinger and Colt Williams. Enfinger threw for 65 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, while Williams rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Sawyer Franklin was another key contributor, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Memorial Day has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
