While Monday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Molly Brown. She wasn't messing around on Monday, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. The pitching appearance was her fourth straight with five or more strikeouts.

Brown's strong effort led Cactus Shadows over St. Mary and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
