The Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves and the St. Michael Warriors squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Livingston Collegiate Academy Wolves had to settle for second. Livingston Collegiate Academy was dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of St. Michael. Livingston Collegiate Academy's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Preston Sentino, who rushed for 239 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 carries. St. Michael also got a significant boost from John Martinez, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 155 yards.
Livingston Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for St. Michael, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Livingston Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Michael will head out on the road to face off against St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas More is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
