East Prairie might have drawn first blood against Scott City on Friday, but it was Scott City who got the last laugh. East Prairie took a 28-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scott City.
The loss dropped East Prairie's record to 1-2. The win bumped Scott City's record up to 3-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Scott City will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Charleston at 7:00 PM. As for East Prairie, they will face off against Hayti.
