Dwight had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Midland Timberwolves. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dwight got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-19, 18-25, 25-17.

Dwight's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Midland, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 20-6.

Coming up, Dwight will host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Midland, they will head out to challenge Flanagan-Cornell at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
