Letcher County Central will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Hazard at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Letcher County Central, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It could have been worse for Letcher County Central, but it could have been a whole lot better too, as the team fell 22-40 to Bell County last Friday.
Hazard had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 43-26 win over Harlan County.
Hazard's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Letcher County Central's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Hazard can add another positive mark to their record or if Letcher County Central can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Hazard's step.
