Not much got past Addie Taylor, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep New Lothrop off the board. Taylor has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Layla Hutchinson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kelcy Sperling, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
